I did roof work on a clubhouse in a mobile home park. I did everything I wrote on the contract. The roof has not leaked but because the property management company didn’t like the COLOR of the roofing I used they 1.
Reduced my bid I was owed on their own by $700 and
2. Came up with a letter saying if I sign it they will pay me but I admit my work was bad!
To me its a way out of paying me. I did everything on the contract to the T, and it has been 3 weeks with no payment and the devil worshipper that works at the Management company simply told me ”Sue me u will lose”. Any advice out there? BTW I am a California contractor and have been one for 20 years with no complaints
I have never had to file a lien in my life so I really have never paid much attention to them.
And yes I am a lic. Contractor since 89′ in California.
